Lynette Brunnbauer
Lynette Brunnbauer lives in the Adelaide Hills with her husband and two adult sons. She enjoys working in country/rural areas, having spent most of her life in the Adelaide Hills, and feels fortunate to enjoy the benefits of country living.
Initially trained as a nurse at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, Lynette has worked in hospitals and Community Health Services for over 20 years, primarily in Country Health SA (Murray Bridge and Mt Barker), including community development work. These roles have enabled her to gain valuable experience as a member of multi-disciplinary teams.
She completed her Psychology degree (with a sub-major in counselling) and internship training while working part-time in Country Health SA at Mt Barker. Over the years, Lynette has worked in various psychology roles, including with the Education Department, Glenside Hospital’s Rural and Remote Mental Health Unit, and in private practice. She has also worked at Headspace in Murray Bridge and Ireach Rural Health, contributing to improving mental health outcomes for children, youth, and adults in the region.
Lynette is particularly passionate about working with young people and in infant and maternal mental health.
